Orally, Qin Jiao is used for digestive disorders, such as loss of appetite, fullness, and flatulence. It is used orally for fever, for hysteria, to stimulate menstrual flow, as an anthelmintic, and antiseptic.
Topically, Qin Jiao is used for treating wounds and cancer.
